Ahh, the good thing about the journals is that they're not retroactive, which is to say that providing you don't update your journal or edit your entries after your subscription runs out, it won't revert back to the default template :]
I haven't really been able to grab a new sub for a while but I wanted to keep the journal the way it was so I just haven't updated it since 2007 hahah *shot*
