Sorry about the HOMGHUEG filesize, but for this it was somewhat necessary.

A commission for :iconheerosferret: of the (gameverse) Sunyshore City from Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, famous for it's elevated solar-panel walkways, lighthouse, nice beaches and moody Gym Leader 8D

Gin asked me to get as many of Sunyshore's famous landmarks in as possible. There's some bonus content, though! If you're familiar with the games, maybe you can spot the ten (human) game characters I've scattered throughout the city! There are also approximately 23 different species of Pokemon out and about in town on this sunny Sinnoh morning :]


This was a blast, especially since I do love doing backgrounds and rarely get to do them often in commissions particularly :]

Oh, Gin showed me the sketches of this when it was in progress. It turned out wonderful! I love all the little details and the lovely, smooth coloring. You did a nice job on the layout of the city as well!

Ohgosh this is amazing, you've captured the city so well!! Also the perspective looks amazing on everything - the cliffs and the walkways in particular (and the seagulls hehe).

Love the whales and the Gyarados too. :D

Thanks Scrii! :D :hug: I still have a few things to learn about straight-line perspectives, but I was so happy with how this came out :D
Apparently I have more cities coming hahahaha, I hope they turn out just as good as this one did :>

Hey, this is pretty nifty. You did an awesome job. I hardly remember the town as it does not seem that important to the game. I just passed right over it. But you did a great job rendering it.
