Whisper on the winds of wings,
Of fluttering leaves and featherdust -
Listen as the zephyr sings
A grazioso tune in slipping gust.
Fall into the tempered flow
Unto the softer breezes till
Leaves quiver no more to and fro,
And the whistle fades into the trill
Of a vivace tune and restless breeze -
A quickened pace adds to the flow
And over it is with practised ease...
In flight's tune a virtuoso.

For 's contest - I hadn't had it uploaded to dA but it has already been entered a while ago.
Anyway - I enjoyed drawing her critter the Olca from her The Xiro Myth comic - I found the design interesting when I saw the critter itself and I had an instant idea for a piece so, why not ^^


I actually had a lot more to say about it.... but I don't know whether it's because a fair bit of time has passed since I finished it or because it's so late and I'm tired that I honestly can't remember what else I wanted to write....

In any case, hoping you like m'dear ^^

Wow, this is really cool, there is so much action in this. The colors are really well done also. I would say good luck in the contest, but with a picture like this, I don't think you need luck. :)
